Eduard Martirosyan

«HAEK» CJSC

General Director

Eduard Martirosyan was born on 22 June, 1974, in the family of a military serviceman.

In 1991 he left Yerevan Secondary School №83.

In 1991 he entered and in 1996 graduated from the Faculty of Transport of the State Engineering University of Armenia, simultaneously in 1993-1995 he received military training in the Military Department of the same university.

From September, 1998 to June, 2020 he has served in the National Security structure of the Republic of Armenia, rising from a junior criminal intelligence investigator to director of the RA NSS.

In 2000 he completed special training courses for the operational staff of the RA MNS and in 2004 he completed analytical courses in the USA.

He has been repeatedly awarded by the management of the National Security Service, Ministry of Defense, Public Prosecutor’s Office and Investigation Committee of the RA for the positive achievements in service. He is an honorary employee of the security agencies.

In September, 2009 he was awarded a medal "For Military Merit” by decree of the RA president, and in December, 2011 he was awarded with a Letter of Appreciation of the RA Prime Minister.

In October, 2018 by decrees of the RA president he was appointed Deputy Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia and on 19 September, 2019 he was appointed Acting Director of the RA NSS.

On 19 March, 2020 he was appointed Director of the RA NSS by decree of the RA president.

On 11 August, 2020 by order of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the RA he was appointed Acting General Director of the «HAEK» CJSC.

On 16 February, 2021 by order of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the RA he was appointed General Director of the «HAEK» CJSC.

He is married and has two children.

Movses Vardanyan

“HAEK” CJSC

First Deputy General Director-ANPP Director

Movses Vardanyan was born on August 20, 1963, in the Ashnak village, Talin region .He had been studying at a secondary school for 8 years. then moved to Yerevan and graduated from the N2 school with physics and mathematics bias in 1980. In the same year, he entered the Energy faculty of Yerevan Polytechnic Institute.

In 1985, he graduated from the University and was sent to work to the ANPP as an intern.

He began to work at the ANPP as a turbine hall equipment operator (on patrol), then as an operator of auxiliary equipment, and after that as an operator of Main Control Room for Turbine Department.

In 1988 he was moved to the Shift Supervisor position of Turbine Department.

In 1995 he passed all relevant exams and took up the post of the ANPP Shift Supervisor until 2002.

In 2002 he was appointed as the ANPP Chief Engineer.

In 2014 he became “HAEK” CJSC Acting General Director, and on December.

In 2015 he was appointed General Director of the «HAEK» CJSC.

On 12 August, 2020 following the changes made to the organizational structure by decision of the «HAEK» CJSC Board of Directors, by order of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures he was appointed First Deputy General Director of the «HAEK» CJSC – Director of the ANPP.

He is married and has 3 children.

Samson Matevosyan

«Haykakan Atomayin Electrakayan» CJSC

Deputy Director General – Director on Common Issues

Samson Matevosyan was born on September 23, 1972  in Jrarat village of  Shirak Marz.

From 1979 to 1989 he studied and graduated from the secondary school No. 18 of Gyumri city.

From 1990 to1995 studied and graduated from the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University, earning a bachelor's degree.

During his studies, he took courses at YSU military chair, receiving the rank of senior lieutenant.

From 1999 to 2009 he served in the Main Investigation Department of the RA Police as an investigator, senior investigator and deputy head of the department.

From 2009 to 2015 he was the Head of the Investigation Departments for Kentron and Nork-Marash, and then for the Erebuni-Nubarashen administrative regions of the Investigation Office of Yerevan.

From 2015 to 2019 he worked as the Head of the Investigation Department for Shengavit Administrative Region of the RA Investigation Committee’s Yerevan Investigation Office.

In 2019 he was appointed Deputy Head of the Main Office for Monitoring the Activities of the Investigation Committee’s Territorial Investigation Offices, later Head of the same Office.

In 2020 he was appointed Deputy Head of the RA Investigation Committee’s Main Office for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases.

On January 13, 2021, he resigned on his own initiative.

From November 21, 2021 to April 28, 2022 he worked as an Advisor to the Director General of the «Yerevan Thermal Power Plant» CJSC.

Since May 2, 2022, he has been working at the "HAEK" CJSC as Deputy Director General - Director on Common Issues.

He is married, has got two children.

 Artur Grigoryan 

ANPP Chief Engineer

Artur Grigoryan was born on August 21, 1978 in Metsamor.
In 1995 he graduated from secondary school N2 in Metsamor. 
In 1995 – 2001 he studied at the RF Obninsk Institute of Atomic Energy, the faculty of Physics and Energy, on specialty “Operation of nuclear power plants and installations” and got qualification as an “engineer-physicist – heat-and-power engineering ”.
 Since March 2001 he started his work at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant as a Reactor Control Engineer of Reactor Department.
On June, 2001 he was drafted into the army in the Armed Forces of the RA Ministry of Defence.
In 2003, after completion of military service he continued working at the ANPP as a Leading Engineer of Reactor Department, as a Leading Engineer of Operating experience department, as a Reactor Control Leading Engineer of Reactor Department.
Since 2008 he has worked as a Shift Supervisor of Reactor Department.
On October, 2013 he passed all relevant exams, received a license from the State Nuclear Safety Regulatory Committee and took up the post of the ANPP Shift Supervisor.
On January 21, 2016 Artur Grigoryan was appointed as the ANPP Chief Engineer.
He is married and has 2 children.

                                         Gagik Khlghatyan

ANPP Deputy Chief Engineer on Operation

Gagik Khlghatyan was born on 20 August, 1966.

In 1983 he entered the «Thermal Power Stations» faculty of the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute named after K. Marks, graduated from it in 1990, having obtained qualification of a heat-and-power engineer.

On 12 May, 1994 he started working at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP) as a Turbine Department (TD) auxiliary equipment operator on patrol.

On 3 July, 1995 he started working in the TD as a major equipment operator on patrol.

On 1 November, 1996 he started working as a control panel operator of the TD.

On 1 July, 1997 he started working in the TD as a senior operator.

On 1 May, 1998 he started working as a leading turbine control engineer.  

On 25 May, 1999 he was appointed shift supervisor of the Turbine Department.

From 1 July, 2001 he was a trainee in the Training Centre for the position of ANPP shift supervisor.

On1 June, 2005 he was appointed Armenian NPP shift supervisor.

On 21 December, 2009 he was appointed ANPP senior shift supervisor.

On 3 January, 2022 he was appointed ANPP deputy chief engineer on operation.

Vova Atoyan

ANPP Deputy Chief Engineer on Safety

Vova Atoyan was born on 8 April, 1957 in Norashen village of Shamshadin region in a working-class family.

In 1963 he entered and in 1973 left the secondary school of Norashen.  

In 1973 he entered the Radiophysics Faculty of the Yerevan State University, graduated from it in 1978, having obtained qualification of a physicist.

In September, 1978 as a young specialist he was seconded to the Armenian NPP and started working in the Labour Protection and Industrial Safety Department as an electrical fitter.

In 1979 he was appointed shift supervisor of the same department.

In 1983 he completed qualification upgrading courses on «Operation of Nuclear Power Plants» in the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute.

In February, 1985 he was appointed deputy head of the Labour Protection and Industrial Safety Department.

In September, 1988 he was appointed head of the same department.

From August, 1991 to April, 1993 he worked in the Decontamination Section of the specified department as a I category engineer.

In April, 1993 he was appointed deputy head of the Labour Protection and Industrial Safety Department.

Since April, 1996 he was head of the ANPP Radiation Protection Department.

Since 20 December, 2010 he has been working as a Deputy Chief Engineer on Safety.

Melik Karapetyan 

ANPP Deputy Chief Engineer on Maintenance

Melik Karapetyan was born on 4 September, 1955 in Lanjik village of Ani region. At the age of 2 he moved with his family to Nor Amasia village of Armavir marz. He studied in the village secondary school till the 8th grade, then he continued his studies and in 1972 left the secondary school of Armavir village, having received a 10-year education.

In the same year he entered the «Mechanical engineering technology, metal-cutting equipment and tools» faculty of the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute named after K. Marks, graduated from it in 1977, having obtained qualification of a mechanical engineer.

From 1977 to 1979 he worked as a constructor in the optical-mechanical laboratory of the Institute of Radiophysics of the Academy of Sciences, having reached a qualification of a I category engineer.

On 19 October, 1979 he started working at the «HAEK» CJSC as a senior process engineer in the Mechanical Department.

In 1980 he was transferred to the Turbine Department, where he worked as a foreman, then as a senior foreman.

From 1986 to 1994 he was transferred to the Centralized Maintenance Department (CMD), where he occupied the position of deputy head of the department on turbine part.

In August, 1994 he quitted his job.

On 29 June, 1997 he started working again at the «HAEK» CJSC as a foreman, senior foreman, head of a group in the Planning and Technical Department of the «Hydraulic Structures» Section.

In 2012 he was again appointed deputy head of the CMD on turbine part.

In 2014 he was appointed Deputy Chief Engineer on Maintenance.

Leonti Chaloyan 

ANPP Deputy Chief Engineer on Modernization and Reconstruction

Leonti Chaloyan was born on 20 August, 1952 in the 3-rd Kalmansk state farm (sovkhoz) of Ust-Kalmansk District of Altay Territory. At the age of 6 he moved with his family to Armenia, settling down in Gyumri (formerly Leninakan). He left Gyumri Russian School №14.

In 1969 he entered the Faculty of Automation of Heat-and-Power Processes of the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute named after K. Marks, graduated from it in 1974. He worked in the same institute as a senior assistant till 1985.

In 1977 he started working at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant as a foreman of the Instrumentation and Control Department (I&CD).

In 1979 he was appointed deputy head of I&CD on operation and in 1987 he was appointed head of the department.

In 1994 he was appointed ANPP deputy director on external relations.

From 2000 till present he has been working at the Armenian NPP as a Deputy Chief Engineer on Modernization and Reconstruction.

Hunan Hunanyan

ANPP Deputy Chief Engineer on Personnel, Head of the Training Centre

Hunan Hunanyan was born on 1 June, 1959 in Agarak village of Talin region.

From 1966 to 1974 he studied in the village 8-year school, then he studied for 2 years in the secondary school of Nerkin Bazmaberd village, he left it in 1976.

In 1976 he entered the «Power Plants» section of the power engineering faculty of the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute named after K. Marks, graduated from it, having obtained qualification of an electrical engineer.

In 1981 he started working at the «HAEK» CJSC as an electrician, then as a senior operator on duty in the Electrical Department (ED).

In 1984 he was appointed shift supervisor of the Electrical Department.

In 1987 he worked at the Training Centre as a plant shift supervisor and instructor.

In 1989 he was appointed shift supervisor of the Armenian NPP.

In 1993 he worked as a senior shift supervisor of the ANPP.

In 2002 he was appointed deputy chief engineer on operation.

In 2011 he was appointed deputy chief engineer on personnel.

In 2015 he was appointed Deputy Chief Engineer on Personnel, Head of the Training Centre.
