The Children of the «HAEK» CJSC Employees Participated in the «International Smart Holidays with the Rosatom School» Shift

Continuing the traditions established in the nuclear industry for supporting social and cultural projects the «Rosatom» State Corporation jointly with Rossotrudnichestvo has invited the children of the «HAEK» CJSC to participate in the «International Smart Holidays with the Rosatom School» shift.

Five children aged 11-15 years, who had actively participated in «ATOM TV» activities in the framework of the «School of Rosatom» project, became participants of the 7-th shift in the «Orlyonok» All-Russian Children’s Centre.

The program was based on the idea of developing communicative and creative abilities of the children, building on their own cultural experience. Each child got an opportunity to actively enter the culture of other people through various activities: traditions and holidays, different workshops (from making souvenirs to staging, from sport games to dancing performance).

The implementation of the program was ensured by a team of experienced teachers of the «Rosatom School» International Children’s Camps.

The children lived communicating both in their native language and in Russian and English. They also used universal languages: gestures, facial expression, signs, schemes.

The main event was the premiere of «Northern Lights» children’s musical with participation of 1500 children.

Participants of the «International Smart Holidays» shift from Russia, Hungary, France, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Armenia and Egypt were involved in the performance.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the nuclear submarine fleet the best participant of the shift Hrak Dovlatyan from Armenia was awarded a certificate for the world’s only trip to the North Pole of the Earth for children. This valuable gift was given to the Orlyonk by Leonid Irlitsa, the captain of the «Vaygach» nuclear icebreaker.
