At the Armenian NPP “Mini Football Championship 2018” was organized to popularize football at the ANPP, to improve the fitness of the employees, to find new footballers and involve them in the ANPP team. The tournament started in the sports centre of Metsamor on 24 September, 2018. The teams completely consisting of the ANPP employees participated in the championship.

The championship was held in two stages: initial and final. At the initial stage the participating teams were divided into subgroups by lot and the games of the initial stage were conducted in a round robin format. The teams consisted of 12 participants, the duration of the match was 2×20 minutes with an interval of 10 minutes. 8 teams took part in the championship, 4 teams got into the semi-finals, namely, the teams of the Instrumentation and Control Department, Centralized Maintenance Department (CMD), Vehicles Department (VD), Decontamination and Disposal Department (DDD). 

In the finals the VD and CMD teams met, as a result of a tense struggle the VD team won with 4-1 score.
