In order to implement modernization activities within the framework of the ANPP Unit 2 LTO Program on April 15 of the current year at 00:40 the fourth turbine generator was shut down. The activities aimed at enhancing the ANPP safety level will be continued, and the activities on modernization of the turbine hall equipment will be initiated.  The power unit is planned to be shut down for the scheduled preventive maintenance -2018 on June 1 of the current year, and on the same day the third turbine generator also will be disconnected from the RA power grid. Upon the completion of the SPM-2018, the connection of the power unit 2 to the power grid via the fourth turbine generator is scheduled for August 1 of the current year, and the third turbine generator will be commissioned following the modernization activities, on December 1 of the current year.
