A visit of international experts involved by the WANO Moscow Centre to the “HAEK” CJSC is planned for the period of 25 August-8 September, 2017 with a view to conduct a Design-Informed Peer Review of the ANPP organized by the WANO Moscow Centre. The aim of this Peer Review is to support the NPP in achieving the highest performance indicators. During the review strengths and areas for improvement will be identified in the plant production activity. The experts will get information through observations of the work performed at the plant, analysis of documentation, discussions and interviews with the plant personnel. In the process of the ANPP review the team of international experts will use a collection of documents as a WANO main guidance document which contains performance objectives describing the standard of the activities of nuclear power plants and operating organizations which is intended for attaining perfection in operation, maintenance, supporting activity and control of the commercial nuclear power plants. The implementation of these performance objectives is a subject of review and analysis by the team of experts taking into account the international good practice available in nuclear power engineering.
