Under the co-chairmanship of Souren Papikyan, the Minister of the RA Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, and Kirill Komarov, the First Deputy of the General Director of the Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation (RF) – Director of the Development and International Business Unit, on July 4^th in Yerevan the 9^th session of the Committee for the Joint Coordination of the ANPP Unit 2 Design Lifetime Extension Program took place. Representatives of the Ministry of the Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, the RA State Committee for Nuclear Safety Regulation, “HAEK” CJSC, “ARMATOM” CJSC, Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation (RF), “Rosenergoatom Concern” JSC, as well as those of the “Rusatom Service” JSC attended the session.

In the course of the session, the status of implementation of the decisions taken during the previous session, as well as that of the implementation of the activities envisaged by the ANPP Unit 2 Modernization and Operating Lifetime Extension Program was discussed.

The preliminary results of implementation of the RA and RF Intergovernmental Agreement, as well as the progress of the project budget execution have been summarized.
