Today, on 17 March a working meeting took place at the ANPP with participation of the ANPP management and the delegation headed by Aleksey Chernikov, First Deputy General Director-Chief Engineer of the «Atomenergoremont» JSC. 
The meeting agenda included the discussion of the activities envisaged in the framework of the ANPP Unit 2 modernization. Emphasis was placed both on the issues related to the reactor vessel metal annealing and dismantling of the annealing facility upon completion of the work.
It should be reminded that the annealing of the reactor vessel metal will be performed at the ANPP during outage-2021. It will enable to recover the reactor vessel metal by 80-85% and will reliably facilitate the design life extension and safety improvement of Unit 2.
At the end of the discussions arrangements were made for a more active and mutually beneficial cooperation in the framework of further activities.
