On March 25 and 26, 2024 the Armenian delegation, represented by Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia G. Baghramyan, General Director of “HAEK” CJSC E.Martirosyan, General Director of “SRI Hayatom” CJSC V. Petrosyan, took part in the 13^th International Forum Atomexpo-2024 in Sochi, Russia.

The delegation, which also comprised G. Sevikyan, Advisor to the “HAEK” CJSC Director General, and A. Ghazaryan, Head of the Procurement Department, took part in the opening ceremony of the event, the plenary session of the forum, visited the exhibition pavilions, got acquainted with the innovations presented by leading industry organizations - new technologies, equipment and projects. Technical issues and suggestions of importance for further discussion and evaluation were considered.

Within the framework of the event, the Director General of “HAEK” CJSC held meetings with the management of “TVEL”, “Rusatom Energy Projects”, the World Association of Nuclear Operators, and a number of other organizations subordinate to the “Rosatom” State Corporation, discussed issues related to the safe and reliable operation of the plant.

The management of “Rusatom Service” JSC discussed issues related to the project of the Armenian NPP Unit 2 lifetime re-extension; in particular, a contract was signed for the modernization of the Essential Service Water System of the Armenian NPP Unit 2 reactor.

In the framework of the Atomexpo-2024 forum, Director General of “Rosatom” State Corporation A. Likhachyov awarded E. Martirosyan with the Order for International cooperation in the nuclear field.

The traditionally organized Atomexpo event provides a continuous opportunity to expand the framework of cooperation.
