On 27 November, 2019 experts of the European Commission visited the Armenian NPP for a follow-up peer review of the «Stress test» activities.

In the ANPP conference hall the visitors were welcomed by Movses Vardanyan, the General Director of the “HAEK” CJSC. The ANPP executive staff and the managers of main departments participated in the meeting. The agenda was introduced to the visitors. M. Vardanyan briefly presented the plant history. He mentioned that both units were of Soviet design. The experts became familiar with the modernization activities performed under the Unit 2 life extension program and with the process of implementing programs aimed at safety improvement.  

The experts performed a plant walk-down, then a discussion of the National Action Plan developed on the basis of the National Report on ANPP «Stress Test» was held.
