On October 22 and 23, 2025 a working meeting of the representatives of the MFA of Germany and GRS company with the ANPP management was held at the Armenian NPP. The meeting was organized to discuss the physical protection upgrades that will be implemented in the coming years on the territory of the ANPP in the framework of Armenian-German cooperation in the field of nuclear security (G7 Initiative «Global Partnership against the Spread of Weapons and Materials of Mass Destruction»).

During the meetings the completed work and the current status of the ongoing project were discussed. A plant walkdown was also organized for the visitors to see the facilities to be upgraded, as well as the systems already implemented at the ANPP under German support. The discussions then continued regarding the activities already completed, including further actions, and the results of the working meeting were summarized.

The parties thanked each other for organizing the meeting and expressed hope for continued fruitful cooperation. The representatives of the MFI of Germany, in turn, expressed their willingness, if necessary, to maintain close contact and provide all possible support to ensure a smooth and successful implementation of measures aimed at modernization of the physical protection of the ANPP.
