From February 19 to March 4, 2024, the annual individual chess competition of 2024 was held at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant. It was organized upon the initiative of the Chairman of the "Armenian Nuclear Power Plant" Trade Union Organization Yu. Dolinyan and the organizer of cultural and sports events Yu. Hovhannisyan.

The first place among 11 participants from various departments was won by N. Azizyan, Senior Foreman of the Metal Flaw Detection Department; A. Hayrapetyan, Deputy Head of the Heat Supply and Underground Utilities Department, took the second place, and A. Kostanyan, engineer of the Turbine Department, was ranked third.

The winning participants were awarded medals, diplomas and memorable gifts by the Director General E. Martirosyan.
