The activities on annealing of the ANPP Unit 2 reactor vessel metal have been completed: this process will enable to restore the initial performance properties of the reactor metal for 80-85%.

Prior to the annealing, reactor vessel inspection has been performed using non-destructive methods (visual and instrumental, eddy-current and ultrasonic testing). The work has been implemented by the INETEC specialists (Croatia) through the use of the relevant automated equipment.   

As scheduled, currently re-inspection activities are being performed to compare the results.
