On July 2^nd, this year the Armenian NPP was attended by Pavel Ceplak, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Armenia. The agenda of the meeting included the extension of the Armenian-Polish cooperation, in particular, the potential involvement of the Polish industrial enterprises in procurement processes required as part of the Armenian NPP modernization.

First, the Ambassador accompanied by the Armenian NPP management performed a walkdown of the NPP territory; he attended the Turbine Department and got familiarized with the major equipment of the Turbine Hall, as well as with the Main Control Room systems and equipment.

In the course of the meeting with the management of the Armenian NPP, the areas that may be of interest for the Polish party in the field of procurement, were discussed, not only with regard to procurement of the equipment and systems specific to the nuclear power plant, but also that of other miscellaneous products required for the normal and failsafe operation of the plant.

At the end of the visit a mutual agreement was achieved to use all the realistic opportunities to ensure bilaterally beneficial cooperation.
