THE «ORGANIZATIONAL DIAGNOSTICS» PROCESS FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THE ANPP

In the framework of the cooperation with the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) the «Organizational diagnostics» pilot process will be conducted at the ANPP for the first time.  
In view of this S. Vybornov, Deputy Director of the WANO Moscow Centre and Elery Monroe Shoemaker, Expert of the WANO Atlanta Center (USA) made a pre-visit to the Armenian NPP on 12-13 August, 2021. The purpose of the pilot process is to provide support to the WANO member organizations in developing, improving the leadership area, exchanging good practice related to organizational issues.  
This process is new both for the Armenian NPP and for the WANO Moscow Centre, whereas in the Atlanta Centre it has been active for 5 years now and has been applied at 9 nuclear power plants in the USA.  
The organizational diagnostics will be conducted within two weeks: as a result of the review specific areas and aspects of the plant performance will be considered, subsequently the overall organizational status of the Armenian NPP will be evaluated (in particular, in the leadership area).  
The implementation of the organizational diagnostics at the Armenian NPP will enable to improve this process with the view of its further application at other NPPs worldwide.
