On 8-10 November, 2022 the visit of Novovoronezh NPP specialists to the ANPP took place with the view of exchanging experience on water chemistry of the cooling water system.

The purpose of the benchmarking was to share the operating experience of the ANPP and NVNPP specialists in the area of water chemistry of the cooling water system.

During the meeting issues related to the biocidal treatment and biofouling of the internal surface of pipelines and equipment, the condition of the internal surfaces of cooling towers, turbine condensers, heat-exchange equipment in terms of deposits, as well as the acceptable methods of equipment cleaning were discussed.

The NVNPP experts delivered presentations on the operation of cooling towers of nuclear power units with WWER-1200 reactors for the technical managers and specialists of the ANPP.

In the framework of the visit M. Vardanyan, First Deputy General Director of the HAEK CJSC - Director of the ANPP received the specialists of the Novovoronezh NPP.
