The General Director of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP), Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Moscow Center of the World Association of Nuclear Operating Nuclear Power Plants (WANO MC) Eduard Martirosyan in Moscow, Russian Federation, took part in the Conference of Directors of WANO MC.

Within the framework of the Conference, the directors of WANO Nuclear Power Plants delivered presentations on the practical implementation of the industry initiative "Action for Excellence".

In his eponymous report, Eduard Martirosyan, in particular, touched upon issues related to activities for safety standards enhancement at the ANPP, emphasizing the advanced methods and best practices developed and applied by WANO aimed at reducing risks and improving the reliability of equipment.

The agenda of the WANO MC Conference of Directors also included topics "New Countries and Organizations, New Technologies", "New Forms of Working with WANO and WANO MC", "New Industrial Challenges in Modern Conditions", which were presented and comprehensively discussed by the participants.

The conference was important in terms of adapting to the new challenges the WANO and WANO MC are facing, as well as adapting to the demands of the time, providing wider opportunities for the knowledge and experience exchange.
