Within the framework of the European Union-funded program "Assistance to the Nuclear Operator of Armenia", the ES Group Europe from the Czech Republic delivered to the Armenian NPP the first batch of a set of mobile diesel generator  station (DGS) manufactured by special order.

The support is provided within the framework of stress test activities carried out at the NPP in accordance with the European methodology after the Fukushima accident, and is aimed at improving preparedness for possible nuclear and radiological emergencies at the nuclear power plant.

Once the delivery of the entire DGS set is completed, the safety level of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant operation will significantly increase.
