On 16 September a meeting took place between the HAEK CJSC and the Rusatom Service JSC in a videoconference format.

Eduard Martirosyan, Acting General Director of the HAEK CJSC and Yevgeny Salkov, General Director of the Rusatom Service JSC delivered the opening address.

The intermediate results of the activities performed in 2020 under the ANPP Unit 2 life extension (LE) program and the plan of activities aimed at modernization of equipment and systems for 2021 were discussed, including:  

• emergency core cooling system (ECCS),
• reactor vessel recovery annealing,
• uninterruptible power supply system (UPSS).

In addition, the issue related to Unit 2 life re-extension (after 2026) was discussed.
