On 19 August, 2021 Gnel Sanosyan, newly-appointed Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the RA paid a study visit to the Armenian NPP. He was accompanied by Hakob Vardanyan, Acting Deputy Minister of TAI, Hambardzum Matevosyan, Marzpet of Armavir Marz and representatives of the Ministry of TAI and Armavir Marzpetaran.The visitors accompanied by the ANPP management performed a walkdown of the plant area. They visited the Turbine Department, in-situ they became familiar with the activities implemented in the framework of Unit 2 modernization and life extension, the systems and equipment that were under general overhaul and modernization during outage-2021 and in the Main Control Room they got acquainted with the NPP control and safety systems.During the meeting held after the walkdown G. Sanosyan welcomed the ANPP management and expressed gratitude to the plant employees for their responsible and devoted work at this important time for our country, thanks to which failsafe operation of this facility of strategic importance is ensured.At the end of the meeting the minister assured that his visits would be of a continuing nature and would be focused on discussion of the issues related to safe and efficient operation of the plant.
