During the period from 19 to 27 June 2025, in accordance with the request from the Armenian NPP, the WANO Moscow Center conducted a Support Mission (SM) on the topic: “Foreign Material Exclusion (FME).”

The Support Mission was attended by experts:

Ivan Goncharov  (WANO MC Advisor-Team Leader);

Dmitriy Yelsukov (Kalinin NNP, JSC “Rosenergoatom Concern”);

Alexey Starosek (Kola NPP, JSC “Rosenergoatom Concern”);

Dilyan Mitev (Kozloduy NPP)

The purpose of SM was to evaluate the effectiveness of the existing Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) program during equipment opening activities at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant.

At the final meeting with the management of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant, the experts presented recommendations for improving the plant’s performance in the area of Foreign Material Exclusion.
