On December 10 Albert Babayan, Director of the National Body for Standards and Metrology CJSC presented certificates, confirming the compliance with international standards ISO 9001:2015 “Quality Management Systems: Requirements” and ISO 14001:2015 “Environmental management systems”, to Eduard Martirosyan, Director General of the HAEK CJSC.

The process of confirming the compliance with international standards included an analysis by the audit team of the NBSM CJSC of the documents, records and data submitted on the basis of applications for certification of the management systems implemented in the HAEK CJSC, on-site audits based on the results of which decisions on certification were made.

Eduard Martirosyan, Director General of the HAEK CJSC and Albert Babayan, Director of the NBSM CJSC exchanged thoughts on the importance of introducing the requirements of international standards in the field of energy of the Republic of Armenia. The parties also noted that the delivery of certificates confirmed the compliance of the integrated management system, implemented in the HAEK CJSC, with international standards and thanked the auditors for the work performed.

The certification process was carried out in accordance with the schedule ensuring the implementation of the Strategic program for the development of the energy sector of the Republic of Armenia (until 2040), which was approved by the RA Government decree No. 48-Լ of January 14, 2021.
