From January 27 to 31, 2025, at the request of the Armenian NPP, the Moscow Center of WANO conducted a support mission (SM) on the topic: “Integrated Risk Management System. Best Positive Practices”

The SM was attended by experts:

• Ivan Goncharov (Advisor, WANO-MC -“ Team Leader);
• Elena Zaytseva (Occupational Health and Personnel Protection Department, “Rosenergoatom Concern’’ JSC)
• Nikolay Nigorenko (Head of Quality Management Department, Kola NPP)
• Tibor Kish (Risk Assessment Specialist, Paks NPP).

The purpose of the SM was to review best positive practices for the effective integration of the risk management (assessment) system into various areas of NPP operations (organization and administration, operation, maintenance).

At the final meeting with the management of the Armenian NPP, the experts presented recommendations for improving the plant’s activities in the field of integrated risk management.
