From June 8 to 11, 2025, a Corporate Peer Review pre-visit was conducted at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP) with the participation of experts from the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO).

During the visit WANO experts became familiar with the plant’s operational processes, conducted a series of technical walkdowns and held interviews with members of the management team and professional staff. Such meetings and discussions enabled the WANO team to gain an initial understanding of ANPP’s management system, safety culture and operational approaches.

During the visit the experts made observations that will later serve as a basis for preparing the main Corporate Peer Review. The preliminary visit has significant importance as the next phase of cooperation between ANPP and WANO.

The Armenian NPP highly values such cooperation, which promotes the strengthening of safety culture, enhancement of organizational effectiveness and ensuring operational excellence in accordance with international best practices.
